Legends of Boxing.. Thomas Hearns vs Jimmy McLarnin. JImmy did well early but Thomas Hearns eventually took over and dominated this fight to the point where the referee steps in and stops the fight in the eleventh round as Hearns was just a beast. The winner by TKO , Thomas Hearns. If it had gone the distance, Hearns would have won a unanimous decision.
Legends of Boxing… Welterweight Battle…. Floyd Mayweather vs Roberto “Hands of Stone” Duran. Duran had control of this fight early but then Mayweather slowly took things over and dominated from the seventh round onward. Duran did hurt Mayweather twice with hard blows, but Mayweather kept up this flurry of punches to rack up the points, I scored the fight 119-116 . But what counted were the judges. The Judges scored this an unanimous decision for the winner ….. Floyd Mayweather.
Legends of Boxing… Welterweight bout… Oscar de la Hoya vs Manny Pacquiao. Manny had the early edge in this fight and was taking to de la Hoya. But Oscar won the second round and then turned on the jets for rounds 4 to 7 where he seemed to dominate Pacquiao. But the Pac man got his act together in the eighth round as de la Hoya got tired and he took it to him. Manny wins rounds 8,9,10 and finally in the 11th round the fight gets stopped as Pacquiao continues to beat on de la Hoya. The fight gets stopped at 2:20 of the eleventh round. The winnner Manny “The Pac-Man” Pacquiao
Legends of Boxing… Welterweight division… Wilfredo Benitez vs Jimmy “Baby Face” McLarnin. This one had a shocking ending. Wilfredo Benitez was ahead on all three judges scorecard and he was ahead on mine also 49-46. But in the sixth round McLarnin nailed him with a hard right hand and down went Benitez. He never got up and in a bit of a shocking upset the Canadian, Jimmy “Baby Face” McLarnin wins this fight by a knockout to advance.
Legends of Boxing… Welterweight Fight… Sugar Ray Leonard vs Thomas Hearns. This fight started off looking like it was going to be an easy bought for Leonard. He won all the first five rounds. But from that point onward it was all Thomas Hearns. Hearns wins rounds 6-12 to come back from no where to win this fight by a majority decision.
Heavyweight Round robin. Marciano vs Holmes. This one turned out to be all Larry Holmes we scored the fight 99-95, and the judges at ringside who actually count also scored it unanimously for Holmes. Holmes takes a step closer to his shot with Ali. His main competition will be Tyson and Frazier.
Round robin format. Everyone fights everyone once. The fighter with the best record gets a shot at Mohammed Ali for the World Heavyweight Title.
Legends of Boxing … for the European Heavyweight Belt…. Vitali Klitschko vs Joe Bugner. Both fighters were undefeated going into this Title Belt Fight. Klitschko took an early lead and then Bugner came on in the middle rounds. In our eyes we had scored the fight Bugner 97 Klitschko 96. We had this fight as being super tight and it really could have gone either way. In the end, the fight goes a thrilling ten rounds and THE WINNER BY A DECISION….. VITALI KLITSCHKO!!

JOE BUGNER
Legends of Boxing.. Semi-Final. European Belt. Joe Bugner vs Max Schmeling. This was one dandy of a fight that went the distance. In the end the judges scored it a controversial split decision. The winner and moving on to meet Vitali Klitschko is Joe Bugner. Bugner was out punched in this one as you can see from the stats. I also had Schmeling as the winner as I scored along after each round. So I was a little bit shocked with the decision, but understandable. Schmeling was furious and wants a title shot or at least a rematch against Bugner. My scoring was Schmeling 88-86.
Legends of Boxing… European Belt semi-final. Vitali Klitschko vs Henry Cooper. This was a pretty close fight until the seventh. In fact , Henry Cooper probably had the edge. But in the seventh the big man from the Ukraine pummeled Cooper and knocked him down not once, but twice!! The referee finally comes in to stop this fight and Klitschko advances to the final .
